Man-O-War All Age School's Annual Flea Market

Well it would seem it was a success again this year. The ferry boat loads full of people mingled in with the second home owners on Man-O-War and the locals, this made quite a crowd. All are very anxious to support the school and lend a hand. Not too mention sift thru the many tables of crafts, food goodies, dinner items and just plain old STUFF. I guess it's true. One man's junk is another man's treasure.

One of the popular tables there is always 'The Pantry'. They sell a bunch of delicious items from hot cheese dips, to chutneys and jelly and varieties of bread. Definitely one of the stops I make. The ladies who have chosen to make Man-O-War a second home for themselves and participate at this table, and all around are greatly appreciated.

The next big event for the island will be the first weekend in April. April 2nd will be out heritage day which we call Sojer Day.  I serve on this committee and enjoy working wiht this great group of people. ACtually Friday night will be the opening event but Saturday will be the big day. We're going to have everything form food, crafts, the May Pole (yes  in April), games form the kids, a Museum and much more.

This year has started off rather interesting. I put a great little cottage under contract the first day back to work for the new year, closed on a transaction and have had multiple offers. Is 'off the grid' living for you?


Bookie's Bay is about a 25 minute drive South of Marsh Harbour. It's a mile or so before you hit Little Harbour. This area is off the grid meaning it does not have city power. Cruising the Sea of Abaco






HI All,

I've neglected my blog a little bit and realized I needed to post a few pictures of a Sea of Abaco cruise my husband and I had a few weeks ago. It was really a party for some friends of ours from Germany who are second home owners on our lovely little cay if Man-O-War.

They chartered Froggies Out Island Adventure for 3 hours and we had an enjoyable evening on the calm sea mingling with friends. The end to the evening was perfect. We returned to the harbour just as the sun was setting.

I do have a couple of new listings to tell you about and will endeavor to get them up here over the next day or two.

As for now enjoy the photos above boasting of our enjoyable evening surrounded by Abaco's gorgeous scenery!

Tranquility






I took a trip out to Casuarina Point about 2 weeks ago. That's about a 20 minute drive South of Marsh Harbour. I took a few pictures of a property that is new to the market. It was quite the perfect day for viewing such a property. The breeze was light, the sun was shining bright and the water and white sand banks looked so inviting.

This property is an income producing property and is what you would call brand spanking new. The rental spaces that it offers are outfitted nicely in wooden floors and ceramics along with tasteful furniture.

Beach Beach Beach




Well everyone, I've been neglecting my blog for the past 8 weeks. What can I say? I have seen the market take a bit of an upward turn and it's kept me busy. This is great news!

I trust everyone enjoyed the Easter holiday weekend. It was just gorgeous here. The past week we've had beautiful weather and I was able to enjoy our beaches and so did my puppy.

Happy New Year

I hope everyone's Christmas and New Years Holiday were fantastic and blessed.

My family enjoyed a white Christmas in Canada and came back home to what feels even colder than the temps in the Great White North! It has certainly been very cold here with the temps dropping in the low 50's and even in the high 40's over certain parts of Abaco. It is most definitely the topic of conversation in Abaco!
