Summer Place REDUCED!

Hi Folks,

Just had a nice long holiday weekend here. I showed property out at Schooner Bay on Saturday and it was a gorgeous day for it. Worked for just a wee bit on Sunday and then relaxed at the 'Low Place', a spot on Man-O-War that is ideal for just wading in the water and capturing the cool breeze. Monday was the actual holiday. It was our Discovery Day. Yes, when Christopher Columbus discovered our islands. So I took advantage of it and got a few things done around the house.

So what's new in the world of real estate in Abaco? 'Summer Place' has had a price reduction. The owners are ready to sell and have reduce the price to $350,000. There are a lot of people out there who want a piece of paradise but can't afford a million dollar beach house. Relaxing on the Sea for the weekend

Yep it's Friday :) This afternoon Grant ( my husband) and I will be heading 'up the cays' as we call it for the weekend. Pigeon season opened on Tuesday and unfortunately Grant only shot 3. So we are heading back to spend 2 nights on a house boat and try our luck again. Also we are looking forward to getting a bit of diving in. We'll look for a few conchs to make a conch salad and hopefully find a few spiny lobsters to throw on the grill!

For those of you have have been to Abaco and have explored by boat you know that the scenery is just simply pristine and peaceful. We will be anchored just off of Lynard Cay and we are set for a relaxing and stress free weekend.
