Who said you had to be a millionaire to own a piece of paradise? This cute cottage is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath getaway. It's very suitable name of 'Tucked Away'  is simply because it is tucked away in the natural vegetation in a private and quiet area on the SC Bootle Highway between Marsh Harbour and the famous Treasure Cay. A gorgeous 3 mile beach is about 10 minutes away. The property runs 80' on the shallow creek that lies behind Treasure Cay's point. So serene........

If a simple island cottage in paradise is exactly what you're looking for then give me a call. This just may be the one for you! $210,000!! That's right! Owners are motivated! Office# 242-367-2992

Man-O-War All Age School's Annual Flea Market

Well it would seem it was a success again this year. The ferry boat loads full of people mingled in with the second home owners on Man-O-War and the locals, this made quite a crowd. All are very anxious to support the school and lend a hand. Not too mention sift thru the many tables of crafts, food goodies, dinner items and just plain old STUFF. I guess it's true. One man's junk is another man's treasure.

One of the popular tables there is always 'The Pantry'. They sell a bunch of delicious items from hot cheese dips, to chutneys and jelly and varieties of bread. Definitely one of the stops I make. The ladies who have chosen to make Man-O-War a second home for themselves and participate at this table, and all around are greatly appreciated.

The next big event for the island will be the first weekend in April. April 2nd will be out heritage day which we call Sojer Day.  I serve on this committee and enjoy working wiht this great group of people. ACtually Friday night will be the opening event but Saturday will be the big day. We're going to have everything form food, crafts, the May Pole (yes  in April), games form the kids, a Museum and much more.

Stay tuned as the day approaches for more updates.

Exceptional Property Named Home of the Year

Wow! What an exciting way to start the New Year. Tilloo Pond, an enchanting  island estate in the Bahamas, has grabbed the Home of the Year award in the $5-$10M category of Unique Homes Magazine.
As the exclusive listing agent for this treasure of a home in Abaco in the northwestern Bahamas, I’m just thrilled.
The staff of Unique Homes had the challenging task of selecting 40 homes from 1,000 pages of prestigious properties, covering four price categories! The public was then asked to vote.
I’m not surprised Tilloo Pond won by a large margin. After all, it has all the bells and whistles of a luxurious home set against a beautiful island backdrop.
Spanning 11 acres of sea to sea property, it has its own beach, protected private dock and a day dock on the Sea of Abaco.  The uniquely designed home has a beautiful vaulted ceiling fashioned from carved, wooden beams. It boasts exquisite furnishings and high end finish work, including granite countertops, Travertine tile and exotic hardwood. With unparalleled views, what more could you ask for?

Congratulations to the owner of ‘Tilloo Pond’ for winning top honors! Whoever buys this gem has a lot to look forward to.

Nice Start

This year has started off rather interesting. I put a great little cottage under contract the first day back to work for the new year, closed on a transaction and have had multiple offers. That combined with the numerous inquiries flowing in every day give me great confidence in 2011 and what it has in store for us.

Stay tuned for more blogs and up to date happenings in the market. I am making a commitment to spend more time on my blog so you can know just what is going on here in Abaco.
